TAP® New York is the greatest celebration of craft beer made in New York State and Catskill Brewery will be there.

We’re not talking about big-corporation beer that comes out of huge vats in a 300,000 sq. ft. production plant. We’re talking about hand-made beer…. beer with enough personality and genuine taste to be called “craft-brewed.” This is beer made with pride by people who truly enjoy a quality, flavorful beer.

Started in 1998 and attended by over 100,000 beer lovers, Tap New York is one of the largest and longest-running craft beer festivals in the country. It’s where brewers from all counties of the state and beer lovers from all over the world gather once a year to catch up with friends, share their beers, and have a great time.

Celebrating craft beer for 25 years.

Founded by legendary craft brewers, TAP® New York started in 1998 as the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival.

It was originally hosted at the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park in the Hudson Valley. After two years at the CIA, the event began to grow, and organizers realized the CIA did not have adequate space to support the festival’s potential size.

In 2000, the event was moved to Hunter Mountain, still titled the Hudson Valley Beer and Food Festival.

From the start, the HVBFF included a brewer competition. The Matthew Vassar Cup was awarded to the Best Craft Beer Brewery in the Hudson Valley, recognizing the best overall mix of beer styles.

TAP® NY made the move to the beautiful Bethel Woods campus — the site of the original Woodstock Music Festival in 1969 — in 2022. Join us for an unforgettable experience of live music, craft beers, and great times.

  • With special guest The Classy Wrecks: 1:30 – 2:30 PM & 3:00 – 4:00 PM

Not many bands can claim genuine legend status. The Wailers comfortably claim their place in essential music history. Their music was, and is, culture-defining: rebel hearts with brave souls embodying the spirit of 70s era-defining reggae.

The band plays a special set featuring incredible cuts from Bob Marley’s formidable back catalogue along with a string of their greatest, classic hits. The Wailers are giving you a chance to be part of the legacy. Aston Barrett Jr, himself reggae royalty as son of the irrepressible ‘Familyman’, carries the flame for The Wailers in a show that is simply not to be missed. LEARN MORE HERE.

Blues Traveler

Sunday, May 21     3:30 PM – 5:00 PM

  • With special guests Black Dirt Bandits: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM  &  Vanessa Collier: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

On the heels of their successful 2022 35th Anniversary Tour, seminal six-time Platinum rockers Blues Traveler have announced a series of 2023 shows to coincide with the impending release of their Live and Acoustic: Fall of 1997 limited edition, double EP (Spring 2023).

36 years ago, the four original members of Blues Traveler—John Popper, Chandler Kinchla, Brendan Hill, and the late Bobby Sheehan—gathered in their drummer’s parent’s basement in Princeton, NJ to jam. From these high school sessions emerged a band that would go on to release a total of 14 studio albums, four of which have gone gold, three platinum, and one six-times platinum- selling more than 10 million combined units worldwide. Over an illustrious career, Blues Traveler has played over 2,000 live shows in front of more than 30 million people, and, in “Run-Around,” had the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history, which earned them a Grammy® for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals.” Their latest album Travelers Blues (Round Hill Records) was released in 2021 and featured reimagined and recharged classics from the American blues songbook and a few surprises. The group’s first official blues album, it was nominated for a Grammy® for “Best Traditional Blues’ Album” in 2022.
